Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Shop For Links, including the public website, customer dashboard, publisher portal, marketplace, ordering workflow, support channels, and related services. By creating an account, placing an order, submitting a publisher website, accepting a task, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you use Shop For Links on behalf of a company, agency, client, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. What Shop For Links does

Shop For Links is a manual SEO backlink marketplace and workflow platform. Customers can browse publisher opportunities, submit target URLs and anchor text, purchase placements, group orders into projects, and track delivery. Publishers can submit website inventory, receive assigned tasks, submit published URLs, and view settlement status. Administrators manually review inventory, orders, fulfillment, and settlements.

Shop For Links does not automatically generate backlinks, automatically index backlinks, operate search engines, or control third-party publisher websites. Fulfillment depends on human review, publisher acceptance, editorial requirements, and operational availability.

3. Accounts and roles

You must provide accurate, complete, and current account information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may approve, reject, suspend, or terminate customer, publisher, or admin access if we believe an account creates legal, payment, security, operational, reputation, or platform abuse risk.

4. Customer orders

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate order instructions, including target URLs, anchor text, project information, publication requirements, prohibited claims, desired timing, and any brand or compliance constraints.

Orders are subject to review and may be accepted, rejected, modified, delayed, replaced, or cancelled based on publisher availability, editorial standards, niche restrictions, content requirements, payment status, or operational feasibility. We may recommend changes to anchor text, target URLs, link attributes, content, or placement details to improve deliverability or reduce risk.

If your failure to provide required information, approvals, access, or cooperation prevents fulfillment, we may pause the order, extend delivery timelines, charge additional administrative fees, or decline refunds for work already started.

5. Publisher inventory and tasks

Publishers must submit accurate website, traffic, metric, price, language, country, category, turnaround, content, and link requirement information. Approval of a publisher website is discretionary and may be revoked if information is inaccurate, quality declines, links are removed, terms are violated, or the website creates risk for customers or the platform.

Assigned publisher tasks may include target URL, anchor text, content instructions, deadline, payout amount, and quality requirements. A task is not payable until Shop For Links reviews and approves the submitted delivery. We may request revisions, reject a delivery, suspend a publisher, or withhold settlement for incomplete, removed, misleading, low-quality, fraudulent, or noncompliant placements.

6. Link attributes, indexing, metrics, and availability

Product metrics such as traffic, domain rating, domain authority, authority score, spam score, ratings, language, country, and category may come from publisher submissions, manual review, third-party tools, estimates, or historical information. These metrics can change and are not guaranteed.

Unless a product or written order states otherwise, link attributes, placement format, article type, publication timing, indexing, and permanence are subject to publisher rules and editorial discretion. Search engines and third-party websites may remove, ignore, nofollow, deindex, reclassify, or discount links at any time.

If a specific order includes a written replacement or guarantee period, our remedy is limited to reasonable manual review, replacement, account credit, or other remedy we choose for that order. No guarantee means a link will improve rankings, traffic, revenue, or search visibility.

7. SEO risk disclaimer

Link building and SEO services carry inherent risk. Search engines control their own guidelines, ranking systems, indexing systems, manual actions, and algorithmic treatment. Shop For Links does not guarantee keyword positions, ranking increases, traffic increases, indexing, domain authority improvements, penalty recovery, revenue, or business results.

You are responsible for deciding whether a backlink placement, anchor text strategy, disclosure, link attribute, or SEO campaign is appropriate for your website, client, industry, and risk tolerance.

8. Payments, billing, and taxes

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider shown at checkout. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for orders, account balances, packages, or approved services. You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, bank fees, currency conversion fees, and payment processor fees unless stated otherwise.

An order may remain pending until payment is successful. We may decline fulfillment, suspend an account, or pause delivery for failed payments, suspected fraud, disputed charges, chargebacks, or payment processor reviews.

9. Refunds, credits, cancellations, and changes

Because orders involve manual review, publisher coordination, content preparation, and external website placement, refunds are not automatic once work has started. If an order cannot be fulfilled as purchased, we may offer a replacement placement, revised placement, account credit, partial refund, full refund, or cancellation depending on the status and cause.

Requests to change anchor text, target URL, content instructions, publication requirements, or other order details after submission may be declined, delayed, or subject to additional fees if work has already started or publisher requirements have changed.

Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account suspension, cancellation of pending work, reversal of credits, or collection activity where permitted by law.

10. Prohibited content and restricted industries

You may not use Shop For Links for illegal, deceptive, infringing, hateful, defamatory, abusive, malware-related, phishing, impersonation, weapons, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, or otherwise harmful content. High-risk niches, including adult, gambling, casino, pharmaceutical, financial claims, crypto, political, medical, or regulated products, may require prior written approval and may be rejected at our discretion.

We may cancel and refund, cancel without refund where legally permitted, or require changes for orders that violate these restrictions or create risk for publishers, customers, or the platform.

11. Platform restrictions

You may not scrape, harvest, resell, copy, reverse engineer, overload, probe, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to the platform. You may not use the platform to build a competing marketplace, submit fraudulent publisher properties, manipulate metrics, evade payment, abuse promotions, transmit malware, or violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.

12. Confidentiality and agency use

Order details, publisher information, pricing, reports, project information, customer information, publisher payout details, and operational communications may be confidential. You may use confidential information only to receive or provide services through Shop For Links and may not disclose it except to employees, contractors, clients, or advisors who need it for that purpose and are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Agencies may use Shop For Links for client projects, but remain responsible for client instructions, approvals, claims, billing, and compliance.

13. User content and permissions

You retain ownership of URLs, anchor text, instructions, publisher submissions, screenshots, notes, and other materials you provide. You grant Shop For Links a limited right to use, store, reproduce, transmit, modify, display, and share those materials as needed to operate the platform, fulfill orders, provide support, process payments, review quality, and maintain business records.

14. Third-party services and websites

The platform depends on third-party services and websites, including hosting providers, payment processors, email providers, publishers, analytics tools, security tools, and search engines. We are not responsible for third-party outages, decisions, policies, content, removals, ranking systems, payment holds, or other actions outside our control.

15. Service changes and availability

We may update, modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the platform or service at any time. We may also add, remove, pause, archive, or change products, publisher inventory, filters, prices, metrics, dashboards, or workflows.

16. Disclaimers

The platform and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, SEO performance, ranking outcome, publisher availability, and uninterrupted service.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shop For Links is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of rankings, traffic, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunities, or client relationships. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Shop For Links for the specific order giving rise to the claim during the six months before the event, or USD $100 if no amount was paid for that order.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shop For Links from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your account, orders, publisher submissions, websites, client instructions, content, payment disputes, legal violations, prohibited use, or breach of these Terms.

19. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay, abused the platform, submitted fraudulent information, or used the service in a way that may harm customers, publishers, third parties, or Shop For Links.

20. Governing law and disputes

If a concern arises, both parties agree to first contact support@shopforlinks.com and make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the available venue, governing law, and process will be determined by the applicable laws and facts of the dispute, including where the customer, publisher, payment processor, and platform operations are located. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
